3.1 Music Streaming

Denon Hi-Fi AV Receiver

Der Denon AV Receiver ist für den Ton im Wohnzimmer zuständig. Nebst der Fernbedienung lässt er sich auch innerhalb des Homelink Netzwerkes fernsteuern. Dies geschieht entweder mit der Heos-App oder über ein Web-Interface, welches im Browser bei Eingabe der IP-Adresse des Geräts erscheint. Alternativ lässt sich ein angeschlossener Bildschirm (in diesem Fall der Projektor) als grafische Benutzeroberfläche nutzen, um Einstellungen vorzunehmen etc. Der AV-Receiver verfügt über ein 5.1 Kanalsystem mit 2 Lautsprechern vorne respektive hinten jeweils links und rechts und einen in der Mitte sowie ein Subwoofer. Folgende Eingänge werden unterstützt:

• Bluetooth: Verbindung eines Geräts per Bluetooth
• TV-Audio: Ton vom Projektor wiedergeben
• Internet-Radio: Direkt TuneIn Radio aufrufen mit Zugang zu Internetradio
• HEOS: Musikstreaming aller Art über das Internet (Heos-App zu Hilfe nehmen)
• CBL/SAT: Aux-Anschluss (Kopfhörereingang)
• Favoritentaste 1: Verbindet sich direkt mit Radio SRF 1 über TuneIn

The Denon AV Receiver handles all the sound in the living room. It can be controlled by the remote control or wirelessly from within the Homelink network by using the Heos-App or a web-interface which can be accessed when entering the IP-address of the device into a browser. Alternatively, a connected screen (like the projector in this case) can serve as graphical interface to modify settings etc. The AV-Receiver supports a 5.1 channel speaker setup consisting of two speakers in the front as in the back with one speaker on each side left and right as well as a center speaker and a subwoofer. The following input sources are supported:

• Bluetooth: stream from a device connected via Bluetooth
• TV-Audio: throughput the sound from the beamer/projector
• Internet-Radio: open TuneIn Radio directly and stream Radio from there
• HEOS: stream all kinds of music over the internet (recommend using Heos-App)
• CBL/SAT: Aux-Connection (wired headphone input)
• Favourite-Button 1: Plays Radio SRF 1 immediately through TuneIn

HEOS

Mit HEOS (App) lassen sich Audioinhalte über das Netzwerk auf der Musikanlage streamen. Mit der App lässt sich das System ausserdem ein- und ausschalten. Der gewünschte Inhalt kann auch mit der Suchfunktion gefunden werden. Die HEOS-App ist wahlweise mit dem HEOS-Account verknüpft, um Vorlieben abzuspeichern (siehe Zugangsdaten). Es stehen verschiedene Musikdienste zur Verfügung:

• TuneIn Radio: Internetradio hören
• AV Eingänge:
  • HMDI 1: wählt das Gerät, welches am sonst freien HDMI-Kabel verbunden ist
  • AUX1: entspricht Kopfhörereingang
  • TV-Audio: entspricht TV-Audio, übernimmt Ton vom Projektor
• Bluetooth: Verbindung eines Geräts per Bluetooth
• Dieses Telefon: Streamt Musik, welche intern auf dem Smartphone gespeichert ist
• Medienserver: Streamt Musik vom Homelink-Server (erfordert kurzes Warten 7sek)
• USB: Falls ein USB-Stick eingesteckt sein sollte
• Deezer: Streaming über Musikstreamingdienst Deezer (Konto von RF)
  

With the HEOS app, audio content can be streamed to the sound system via the network. The app can also be used to switch the system on and off by navigating to the "rooms"-tab at the bottom of the screen. The desired content can also be found using the search function. The HEOS app can optionally be linked to the HEOS account to save preferences (see login data). The following music services are available:

• TuneIn Radio: Select radio stations to listen to
• AV Source:
  • HMDI 1: selects device connected to the otherwise unused HDMI-wire
  • AUX1: selects the audio input through the headphone jack
  • TV-Audio: selects the audio coming from the projector
• Bluetooth: listen to Bluetooth connected devices
• This device: stream locally stored music directly from device (smartphone)
• Media server: stream from Homelink-Server (requires some initializing time 7sec.)
• USB: retrieve music stored on a USB-drive in case one is connected
• Deezer: use music streaming service Deezer (RF’s account)

Google Home

Es gibt zwei Google Home Mini Geräte, welche untereinander verbunden sind zu einem Lautsprecher. Diese sind mit dem Google Assistant per Stimme bedienbar. Per Sprechbefehl lässt sich Musik über diese Geräte wiedergeben (sofern das Mikrofon auf der Rückseite nicht stummgeschaltet ist). Die zwei smarten Stehleuchten im Wohnzimmer sind mit Google Home verknüpft und können dadurch vom Assistenten oder der App gesteuert werden.

There are two Google Home Mini devices that are paired together to form a single speaker. These can be operated by voice with the Google Assistant. Music can be played by these devices through a voice command (make sure the mic is unmuted by toggling the switch on the back of the device). The two smart standing lamps in the living room are linked to Google Home and can therefore be controlled by the Assistant or the app.
